Responsible Gaming

Version: 1.0  |  Last Updated: June 4, 2025

At Rainbet, we believe that gaming should always be an enjoyable and safe leisure activity. We are firmly committed to promoting responsible gambling and providing players with the tools, information, and support they need to stay in control. This Responsible Gaming Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions and should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.

1. Our Commitment

Rainbet takes the welfare of its players seriously. We are dedicated to:

  • Ensuring that gambling on our platform remains a form of entertainment and does not become harmful;
  • Providing effective, accessible tools that allow players to set limits and seek help;
  • Training our customer support team to identify and respond to signs of problem gambling;
  • Preventing underage individuals from accessing real-money gaming services;
  • Cooperating with recognized responsible gaming organizations and self-exclusion schemes;
  • Continuously reviewing and improving our responsible gaming practices in line with industry best standards.

We ask all players to approach gambling responsibly: set a budget before you play, only gamble with money you can afford to lose, and treat gambling as entertainment — not as a way to earn income or recover financial losses.

2. Recognizing Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or experience. Being able to recognize the warning signs is the first and most important step toward getting help. Ask yourself the following questions honestly:

  1. Do you gamble with money that is meant for essential expenses such as rent, food, or bills?
  2. Have you ever lied to family members, friends, or colleagues about the amount of time or money you spend gambling?
  3. Do you feel irritable, restless, or anxious when you are unable to gamble or try to reduce your gambling?
  4. Have you ever tried to stop or cut back on gambling but found it difficult or impossible to do so?
  5. Do you find yourself gambling for longer periods than you originally intended?
  6. Do you "chase" losses — gambling more to try to recover money you have already lost?
  7. Has gambling ever caused you to neglect work, education, family responsibilities, or personal relationships?
  8. Do you think about gambling frequently, including when you are not playing, or plan your schedule around gambling?
  9. Have you borrowed money, sold possessions, or considered illegal acts to fund your gambling?
  10. Do you feel that gambling is out of your control or that you need to gamble with increasingly larger amounts to feel excitement?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you may be experiencing gambling-related difficulties. We strongly encourage you to use the tools available on this page and to seek support from one of the organizations listed in Section 6.

3. Player Protection Tools

Rainbet offers a range of responsible gaming tools that are available to all registered players at any time, free of charge. You can access these tools through your Account settings or by contacting our support team at [email protected].

3.1. Deposit Limits

You can set limits on the amount you are permitted to deposit over a defined period:

  • Daily Deposit Limit
  • Weekly Deposit Limit
  • Monthly Deposit Limit

Reductions to deposit limits take effect immediately. Increases to deposit limits are subject to a 7-day cooling-off period before coming into force, giving you time to reconsider.

3.2. Loss Limits

You can set a cap on the total net losses you are permitted to incur over a specified period (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once your loss limit is reached, further gameplay will be restricted for the remainder of that period.

3.3. Wagering Limits

You can restrict the total amount you are permitted to wager within a given period, independent of wins or losses.

3.4. Session Time Limits

You can set a maximum duration for each gaming session. When your session time limit is reached, you will be notified and may be automatically logged out of your Account.

3.5. Reality Checks

You can configure periodic on-screen reminders (e.g., every 30, 60, or 90 minutes) that display how long you have been playing and the net outcome of your session. This feature helps you stay aware of time spent gambling.

3.6. Cooling-Off Period

If you wish to take a short break from gambling, you can apply a cooling-off period of 1 day, 7 days, 14 days, or 30 days. During a cooling-off period, your Account will be suspended for gameplay purposes. You will not receive any marketing communications during this time. A cooling-off period takes effect immediately upon request.

3.7. Self-Exclusion

If you feel that you need a longer or more permanent break from gambling, you may request self-exclusion. Self-exclusion options include:

  • 6 months;
  • 1 year;
  • 2 years;
  • 5 years;
  • Permanent exclusion.

During self-exclusion, your Account will be fully suspended. You will not be able to log in, deposit, or participate in any gaming activity. All marketing communications will cease. You may also register with national and provincial self-exclusion programs for additional protection (see Section 6).

A self-exclusion period cannot be reversed before it expires. Requests to lift a self-exclusion are subject to a mandatory 7-day reflection period for shorter exclusions and a 30-day reflection period for exclusions of one year or longer.

To request self-exclusion, contact us at [email protected] or use the Account settings panel.

4. Tips for Responsible Gambling

We encourage all players to follow these guidelines to ensure gambling remains a positive experience:

  • Set a budget before you start playing and stick to it, regardless of outcomes;
  • Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose, including funds set aside for living expenses;
  • Treat gambling as entertainment — not as a source of income or a solution to financial problems;
  • Take regular breaks during gaming sessions and avoid playing for extended periods without stopping;
  • Do not chase losses — accept that losses are a normal part of gambling and do not increase your bets in an attempt to recover them;
  • Avoid gambling when you are emotionally distressed, tired, intoxicated, or under the influence of any substance;
  • Balance gambling with other leisure activities and maintain healthy relationships and responsibilities;
  • Educate yourself about the odds — all casino games have a house edge and outcomes are determined by chance;
  • Use our responsible gaming tools proactively — do not wait until gambling becomes a problem before setting limits;
  • Talk to someone you trust if you feel gambling is becoming a concern.

5. Protection of Minors

Rainbet strictly prohibits access to real-money gaming services by individuals below the applicable minimum age (18 or 19 years, depending on province). We employ age verification procedures during registration and reserve the right to request proof of age at any time.

If you share a device or household with minors, we strongly recommend the following precautions:

  • Always log out of your Account when you are not actively using it;
  • Enable password protection on your device and never share your login credentials;
  • Use parental control software to restrict access to gambling websites. Recommended tools for Canadian households include:
    • Net Nanny (netnanny.com)
    • Bark (bark.us)
    • Qustodio (qustodio.com)
  • Educate minors about the risks and legal restrictions associated with gambling.

If you suspect that a minor has accessed your Account or created their own Account on the Website, please notify us immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate promptly and take appropriate action.
